Mothers Day Gifts (UNDER $30) that She’ll Actually love
LAST-MINUTE Mothers Day Gifts FOR UNDER $30
My mom is incredible, she deserves the absolute best. If you’re reading this, you probably feel the same way. Our mothers have been spoiling us and smothering us with love our entire life, and now it’s our turn to return the favor.
If you’re lucky enough to be close by your mom, this could mean making them dinner, cleaning their house, or just spending some extra time with them.
However, for those of us who aren’t close to our Mothers, a great way to make them feel remembered and appreciated is to send a thoughtful gift.
Here are some fresh and unique ideas that they are sure to love.
A gift set from etsy
There are hundreds of shops on Etsy that make the CUTEST Mothers Day gift sets that are surprisingly affordable. There are lots of different varieties- some with succulents, candles, bath scrubs, soaps, necklaces, chocolates, and other treats. Here are a few under $30 that I LOVE.
If you prefer, you could also make a more personalized gift set and send it out yourself. Start with a cute gift box like this one from Target, and fill it with some of her favorite things.
gift card to a local nursery
I’ve always thought it would be so fun to send my mom flowers or a cute plant for Mothers Day, but it is just so dang expensive. After adding on a vase + shipping it’s usually around $70.
If you’re local, dropping off flowers is a great option, but if you’re not… don’t give up yet. You can still give your mom flowers for a whole lot cheaper with a gift card to a local nursery.
We have some of the cutest nurseries around us that have trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, seeds, veggies, herbs, and home goods like vases and decor.
You could also pick up a flower pot like this one (I love Target) and send it with the gift card inside the pot so she has something to put the plants she picks out in.
If you get your mom random little trinkets, they’re gonna end up in the trash a few years down the road. Get her something she will actually use and see every single day.
Here’s some ideas of home decor that your mom will love.
2-Pack Throw Blanket from Nordstron Rack
Wire Black Bins from Target
Clara Eucalyptus Wreath from Magnolia
Seriously, what’s better than a clean home? If you can’t be there to clean it for her yourself, you can still give your mother to gift of a clean home.
I will admit, this service does depend on the size of her house, but will most likely cost you more than $30. I just hopped on Groupon to look for some cleaning services here in Utah where I live, and found one that does two-hours of cleaning for $45. Totally worth it!
This is also a great last-minute gift, as you can just order it on Groupon and send her an email with the voucher on Mothers Day!
MOM LETTER PENDANT NECKLACE
I am a sucker for dainty jewelry and this is no exception. When I saw this m-o-m letter pendant necklace, I immediately fell in l-o-v-e.
It’s only 19.99 AND it ships free to the U.S (score!)
Give your mom something she can wear every single day to remind her of the sacrifices she made to be a mother.
FAMILY MULTI FACE SOCKS
Have you ever seen those cute socks with a person or pet’s face splattered all over them?
Well hold on, because I’m about to blow your mind. You can order FAMILY FACE SOCKS. I kid you not, this is a real thing. Snap a quick selfie of you, your sister, your dog, and your dad and upload them to socksmile.com to have a pair of socks made covered in the faces of your entire family. Does it get better than that? nope.
You better know your mom’s gonna be sporting these around for years to come. Grab some for grandma, too, while you’re at it!
STAY-AT-HOME RESORT KIT
For those who may be reading this a few years down the road, I am writing this during the peak of Coronavirus Quarantine. Since all of us have been stuck inside a little bit too long and would really rather be at the beach right now, bring the beach to your mom for Mothers Day.
Pick up a cheap beach bag and fill it with inflatable palm trees, piña colada mixers, a cute pair of sunglasses, and other beach essentials.
I did this a few weeks ago for my husband for our anniversary and it was so much fun!
